All content must be approved in writing (or through orgsync) by the Student Activities Office prior to being displayed
All advertisements (banners, chalking, etc.) must include contact information
All chalking and banners must be at least 10 feet from an entrance to a building
All advertisements may only be displayed for a maximum of 7 days
All advertisements, materials used to secure the advertisements, and chalk must be removed within 24 hours after the event has ended
The organization or individual displaying the advertisement is responsible for all costs associated with the advertisement (chalk, banner materials, hanging devices, etc.)
CSM officials have the right to remove any advertisement at any time
Failure to follow this policy or other School policies may result in immediate penalties including, but not limited to removal of advertisements, restrictions on future advertisements, and/or other sanctions deemed appropriate
Chalking Specifics:
Chalking advertising may not exceed 4' x 6' in size per message
Chalking is only permitted on horizontal outdoor surfaces
Chalking CANNOT be drawn on pavers (bricks) or colored concrete, with the exception of the colored concrete just outside the Student Center
Any chalking placed on the back courtyard of Maple Hall must be approved by Brent Waller, the Associate Director of Housing
Chalking must be clear from any and all overhangs
Only chalk may be used (no crayons, spray paint, spray chalk, markers, or other marking devices)
A maximum of 10 chalking advertisements will be permitted per event

Checkout form for sandwich boards, coolers, "spike", sound system, chalk, etc.
You are not required to fill out this form when checking out chalk (assuming you are using it for a short period of time to put up chalking advertisements), unless you intend to keep it for more than a day.

Tier 2 and Tier 3 organizations are given priority until October 1st.
Only one locker per organization.
No exchanges of lockers once assigned.
CSM will not accept responsibility for damage or loss of the contents of any locker.
Upon assignment and during use, students are held responsible to report any damage or needed repairs to the Student Activities office. If your locker door does not open or shut properly, do not force it; report it immediately.
Do not store anything of high value (e.g. money or personal items).
Flammable materials, dangerous chemicals, explosives or weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited inside the lockers.
Illegal or controlled substances such as drugs or alcohol are also strictly prohibited.
The Student Activities Office reserves the right to open a locker with or without the consent of the renter in instances where locker procedures are being abused or in the case of an emergency situation
Locker rentals operate on an 8-month contract from September 15, 2012 to May 15, 2013. NOTE: Students must notify our office if they would like to renew their contract and continue usage into the next year.
Lockers are to be cleaned out at the end of school year. Notices to vacate lockers will be sent out via email a few weeks prior to the deadline.
Any lost /damaged locks will result in a charge of $200 to your personal student account to cover the cost of replacement.
If you would like a club/organization mailbox in the Student Center, fill out the following form and return it to the Student Activities Office. Tier 2 and Tier 3 Organizations will have priority until October 1st, if additional boxes are open after October 1st they will be assigned based on the date of application. Organizations will be contacted once a space is assigned.
NOTE: Once you have a mailbox you need to check it on a regular basis and keep it uncluttered. If your mailbox is not kept tidy, it will be reassigned to a different club.
