Mitchell Veverka- President

Welcome to Pre-Medical Society! I am currently a Senior in Chemical and Biological Engineering at Mines and in the process of applying to medical school. My hope is to be attending Baylor School of Medicine in the Fall of 2014! My passions for medicine and helping those who are interested in medicine are the main reasons I am part of this society. If you ever have any questions, please feel free to ask as I would be more than delighted to help you at mveverka@mines.edu! I hope to see you in our meeting in the near future and good luck with your future medical life!

 

Michael J Finger - Vice-President 

I am currently a senior at the Colorado School of Mines majoring in Biological and Chemical Engineering and minoring in Bioengineering and Life Sciences (BELS). I also hope to apply to medical school this upcoming summer. My hobbies consist in running, biking, playing the guitar, traveling, and spending time with family and friends! Some of the extracurricular activities I have had a chance to be apart of at Mines consist of the cross country and track and field teams, Tau Beta Pi, and the pre-med societies vice president. I am also a consistent volunteer at Porter Adventist Hospital’s cardiac rehab department, and work at the Arthur Lakes Library on campus. I am currently a junior at Colorado School of Mines, majoring in Mechanical Engineering and minoring in Bioengineering and Life Sciences. Born and raised in Colorado, I hope enter medical school after completing my four years of undergraduate at Mines. I am currently the President of the Pre-medical Society on Campus. Sara Brown-Scalpel

Hi there! I'm a junior at the School of Mines studying Chemical and Biological engineering with minors in Bioengineering and Life Sciences, and Public and International Affairs from the McBride Honors program. I've lived in Colorado my whole life and am addicted to skiing, hiking, and any other outdoor activity! Additionally I am in love with yoga and read whenever I can! This summer I will be turning in my applications for medical school and am excited for this new adventure. I am passionate about medicine in every aspect from new technologies to the importance of personal relations and patient care.
